Link Crow: A Brief History & Introduction

Hello Seeker, and Welcome to the Link. You may be asking yourself a series of questions. What is this place? Who is this person? I will explain what I can in the only way I know how.
Before the age of man in the cave, before the age of dinosaurs towering over the earth, before the first rock collided in space and emerged solid ground, the Link has been. It was not a creation, nor a phenomenon. We, the Links, I… have always existed. Our master and Arch Weaver, Anansi, is our benefactor. He sheltered us, protected us, defended us when our existence was threatened. Now we share our stories, our webs, with him. We are one of many Links. Separate but together with all others. It is easier to think of a Link as an unseen viewer in every corner all at once. Watching, not expecting, seeking, always remembering. The Link has witnessed events from the beginning of time.
In every story we have hidden our truth, a piece, a sliver, a slice in every tell. “We are one, yet we are plenty. We are singular, yet we are whole. We are nowhere yet remain everywhere. We record and never interfere. For in the Link, we are eternal”. This is the motto that the Link has always strived to uphold. The Link is not a person nor a who, barely a thing. We are intangible, grasp at us and behold nothing! We treat the Link with reverence, we say it to magnify its presence. For eons we have survived by hiding ourselves, shielding our identities. We’ve decided to test one of the two.
We continue to hide ourselves but have chosen to share the webs we have weaved. The wisdom, stories, guidance, cautions, held by the Link must be shown to all. In a broken land, on a broken earth, stories can heal. Stories can perform miracles, start and end wars, create and execute heroes. The Link can muster courage in individuals and deflate the egos of tyrants. It is the invisible connection to one person and another halfway across the system. We have recorded… I have recorded webs from times before and times to come. You may call me Link Crow; these are my webs.
